Jordan Jones – Defence/Midfield – DOB: 06/06/92

Signed for the 2012-13 Season having previously played for Studley. A Liverpool fan who, like most of the current Liverpool squad, would like to play at Wembley. Equally at home at right back or on the right wing.  If he won the lottery the first thing he’d buy is a haircut for striker Lewis Pountney, who Jordan described beautifully as “a scruffy Harry Styles”.

Jamie Willets – Defence – DOB: 02/08/92

“Bobby” has been with the club since November 2009 where he began playing for Swifts’ U18’s side. Consistently solid performances and two Manager’s Player of the Season awards has seen him now cement his place in the first team. Jamie is a keen Kidderminster Harriers fan and would love to play for them one day.

Ashley Parsons-Smith – Defence – DOB: 16/02/95

Another player that joined for the start of the 2013//14 season, ‘APS’ was previously with Kidderminster Harriers’ Youth Set-up.

Calvin Dinsley – Midfield – DOB: 23/10/90

“Dinz” joined towards the end of 2011 having previously been on the books of Cambridge United and Evesham United. As a youngster he played for West Bromwich Albion, and, despite having a decent football brain, has supported them ever since.

Paul Hurrell – Midfield – DOB: 14/10/93

Another former Kidderminster Harriers Academy player, Hurrell joined the Swifts just prior to the start of last season. He was on Harriers’ first team books towards the end of the 2011/12 season and his footballing dream would be to join the professional ranks and play for a living.

Gary Walker – Midfield – DOB: 10/02/88

Club captain, “Gaz” signed in January 2012 having previously had spells with Worcester City and Evesham United.  A ‘Family Guy’ loving West Brom fan, Gaz, described the funniest thing he’s ever seen on a football field as “Haydn Whitcombe (Swifts’ goalkeeper) catching a cross”.

Lewis Pountney – Forward – DOB: 17/05/88

Lewis has had several spells for Stourport over the last few seasons and has always managed to find the back of the net. A joker, amongst a pack of many at Swifts, when asked about his football dream he replied “it was wet”. Being the family club that we are we can only assume he meant he was playing at Wembley or sum such and the sprinklers were turned on by mistake...

John Griffin – Forward – DOB: 11/10/87

Former Stourbridge Town and Halesowen Town striker, “Griff” was Swifts’ top scorer last season in his second spell with the club. Was looking like he would be missing a lot of games this term through work commitments but luckily for the Swifts he’s changed jobs.

Chris Morrison – Forward/Centre back – DOB: 28/10/79

Pushing the average age of the squad up by several years single handedly, “Morro” has had spells with Bromsgrove Sporting, Banistedd Athletic, Walton & Hersham, Staines Town, Molesey FC, Corinthian Casuals, Fulham and Milwall. Signed on to play in his preferred striking role, he may also have to make the odd appearance at centre back.

Sam Hawker – Goalkeeper – DOB: TBC
